Once you place your order with Volition, we go to work for you, sourcing the parts you’ve ordered from each specific vendor within your order. When we receive the final shipping information (including the tracking number, when provided) we’ll update your order with the final pricing, tax, and shipping details. When all the vendors in your order have provided final costs, your Volition order and detailed invoice will be finalized, and provided to you through your Manage Orders page in your Volition account and via email. You’ll see a single final charge to your payment method for the Order Total, which includes all of your item pricing, taxes, and shipping charges for the full order. Your items are shipped from the associated vendor directly to you, with the turnaround time depending on the unique item’s lead time and the shipping option you selected at checkout.
When we receive an item’s tracking number from the vendor, we’ll attach the tracking number to the item in your Volition order. You can check for tracking information on your Manage Orders page in your Volition account at any time. You can then enter the tracking number into Google search in the format “123456789101112 package tracking” to see your item shipping status. Please note that once shipped, most couriers take up to 12 hours for the shipping updates to populate.
If you have received an item and you would like to return it for any reason, we will defer to the specific Vendor’s return policy, and work with you to facilitate the return to the specific Vendor. Please note that each Vendor’s return policy is unique, and we may not always be able to facilitate the return depending on the Vendor’s policy and process. If you’d like to initiate a return for an item, email [email protected] with your Volition order number, the SKU # of the item you’d like to return, and the Vendor you purchased the item from. We’ll work with you and the Vendor to get your return squared away. Please note that you may be responsible for the cost of return shipping, and any applicable restocking fees, in line with the specific Vendor’s return policy.

Returns may be accepted after 30 days, however a restocking fee will apply depending on the age of the order. Return shipping costs a flat $10 for most orders. Once you’ve placed your order, if you would like to cancel or change the order, please get in touch with Volition Customer Service right away. Email: [email protected], typical response time is within 1 hour. Once you reach Volition Support, we’ll do our best to accommodate your order cancellation or change. Please note that once the vendor has started to prepare your order, your order cannot be canceled or changed, and instead we’ll help facilitate a return once you have received the item(s).
When all the vendors in your order have shipped all of your items, your Volition order and detailed invoice will be finalized, and provided to you through your Manage Orders page in your Volition account. You will also receive an email with the invoice attached. Please note that if you ordered items from multiple vendors, we’ll wait for the final shipping information from all Vendors in your order before your final invoice is generated and your payment method is charged. This typically takes no longer than 2-3 business days, unless there is a shipping delay or other issue with an item in your order. But don’t worry: order issues are rare, and if there is a problem with your order, we’ll reach out to you right away to resolve it. In the meantime, you can always see any finalized shipping & tax costs on your Manage Orders page.
We ask you to select one of three shipping speeds during checkout. Please note that these are generalized options, and may not be offered by all vendors in our catalog. We use your selection to guide what shipping method we select when purchasing from a given vendor in your order, and will choose the vendor’s shipping option that best matches what you chose on Volition. The price of shipping is dependent on the items ordered and the shipping method selected. The amount the vendor charges for shipping will be added to your Order Total, with no markup. If you order items from multiple vendors, you will pay for shipping from each vendor and see these charges broken out on your final invoice. The options available during Volition checkout:
Ground $ Rush $$ Overnight $$$ This is the most economical shipping option. Items will typically arrive within 3-10 days of shipment, depending on the vendor, and the availability of the item ordered. This is the expedited shipping option. Items will typically arrive within 2-3 days of shipment depending on the vendor's order cutoff time, the timing of when the order is placed, and the availability of the item ordered. This is the fastest shipping option. Items will typically arrive next-day after shipment, depending on the vendor's order cutoff time, the timing of when the order is placed, and the availability of the item ordered. Currently, when you check out with Volition, you’ll select one shipping speed for your whole Volition order. We’re not yet able to accommodate different shipping speeds for different items within a single order, but we hope to introduce this functionality in the future. In the meantime, if you want some items overnight and others slower, you’ll need to submit separate orders for your Overnight vs. Ground shipping items.
When you first place your Volition order, we’ll preauthorize a charge on your payment method for the estimated subtotal before tax and shipping. Because taxes and shipping costs vary depending on the delivery location, shipping method, and dimensions of each item ordered, we aren’t able to provide your exact tax and shipping amounts up front when you order. Once your Volition order is placed, we go to work sourcing the parts you’ve ordered from each specific vendor within your order. When all the vendors in your order have shipped all of your items, your Volition order and detailed invoice will be finalized, and provided to you through your Manage Orders page in your Volition account. You’ll see a single final charge to your payment method for the Order Total, which includes all of your item pricing, taxes, and shipping charges for the full order broken out clearly on the invoice. The amount you are charged for taxes & shipping will be the exact amount charged by the vendor for your order, with no markup.

Maintaining trust with both buyers and sellers is important to Volition. For this reason customers pay the exact same amount on Volition as they would if they shopped directly with the vendor, and Volition charges vendors a fee that is inline with industry standards. Vendors do not have to pay to be on Volition, and Volition only makes money when vendors make money. Similar to other distributors or marketplaces, Volition works with vendors and manufacturers to increase access to their products. When a product is purchased on Volition from a vendor we have an agreement with, Volition gets to keep a small % of that sale.
